Meg Ryan makes rare public appearance to support Michael J. Fox

Meg Ryan, the American actress, has been keeping a low profile in recent times, only appearing at the amFAR Los Angeles Gala in November 2021. However, she has begun to make her comeback into the public eye, starting with a star-studded event supporting her friend Michael J. Fox. Ryan was seen at a special screening of the Apple TV+ documentary, “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie” in New York City. The 61-year-old actress posed for photos with Michael and his wife Tracy Pollan, as well as other attendees such as Ali Wentworth, Bill Murray, Elvis Costello, Mark Seliger, Joan Jett, and Katie Couric.

Ryan dressed casually for the occasion, wearing a red floral sweater with slacks and black dress shoes, covered by a black overcoat. Although her appearance has changed over the years, Ryan has always been comfortable with herself. In 2015, she shut down rumors of plastic surgery, stating that she loved her age and her life. “We get stuck in these conversations about looks and hair color and our roots,” she said. “It’s interesting and funny for five minutes, but it’s not that interesting.”

Fortunately for fans of the star, Ryan announced last year that she would be returning to the big screen in the movie “What Happens Later,” which is set for release in 2023. She announced the news on her social media with the help of the film’s poster. The movie also stars David Duchovny and will be the second film that Ryan directs, following “Ithaca” in 2015. Ryan’s fans are excited to see her back in action on the big screen.

Ryan’s public appearance to support Michael J. Fox marks the beginning of her return to the limelight. Although she has been out of the public eye for some time, Ryan has remained true to herself and is ready to make a comeback. Fans are eagerly anticipating what the future holds for the talented actress.
