But while he sensationally walked away from the show just several days in, Bernard Tomic was almost slated to come into play much later in the game.
Speaking to news.com.au, I’m a Celeb’s executive-producer Stephen Tate admitted they had plans in the works for the tennis star to make his debut as an intruder had he gotten further in the Australian Open.
‘We’d been in talks with him for months. If he had gone all the way in the Australian Open we had a contingency for him to go in later,’ the producer explained.
