Gina Kirschenheiter, a star on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” has taken to social media to dispel rumors that she is using the weight loss drug Ozempic. Responding to a follower who suggested that she was using the drug to lose weight, Kirschenheiter posted a TikTok video of herself stepping on a scale and wrote, “I’m a size 6. If I wasn’t eating, I would be a 2. Go kick rocks. I’m weighing myself to silence the noise.”
In the video, Kirschenheiter revealed that she is 5’8″ and weighs 155.9 pounds. She also emphasized that she is “very healthy, very average,” and that she tries to take flattering pictures like everyone else. She added that she stopped drinking a year and a half ago.
Kirschenheiter’s post received mixed responses, with some thanking her for being candid and others criticizing her for responding to the rumors. However, Kirschenheiter reiterated that she is not taking a weight loss drug and that it’s not her fault that people are trying to make something out of nothing.
This is not the first time that Kirschenheiter has addressed her figure on social media. In February, she posted a mirror selfie and wrote, “Where comfy meets casual…. that’s where I’ll be Ps. My little belly is due to winter cookie intake and I’m perfectly ok with it so you should be too.”
Several other reality stars, including Dolores Catania, Jennifer Fessler, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, and Erica Jayne, have admitted to using Ozempic. However, the drug has become so popular that there are now nationwide shortages for those who need it to treat Type 2 diabetes.
Kirschenheiter’s response to the rumors about her using Ozempic shows that she is not willing to let speculation about her personal life go unanswered. Her willingness to speak out about her body and her health is a reminder that celebrities are human beings who are often subject to unfair scrutiny and criticism.
